Sorry for spamming here, I couldn't find any other ways to contact you.

My name is Alexey Mitev, I am software developer and Dino Esposito's books translator from English to Russian in one of Russian publishing houses.

May I translate messages of your blog for Russian-speaking audience? I am planning to translate 3-5 messages/day and publish them on my rus-it.org site.

I will keep the links to original content and original posts dates.

Awesome quiz. Thanks for sharing Raymond!

  3. Jim says:

I scored 3/10, I wonder what the scores of our fellow blog viewers?

  4. idle observer says:

I got eight of ten. For what it's worth, I have never seen Sheen's former show, and I haven't been closely following Gaddafi's pronouncements.

  5. Horst Kiehl says:

Funny, I scored only 3/10 like Jim, but my background is just like idle observer's! But that's OK. Sometimes you lose, sometimes the others win!

  6. 500 - internal error says:

3/10 here too – them are two wild and crazy guys :)

  7. subman says:

Got a couple more for you:

    1) "It’s lonely at the top but I love the view."

    2) "If you are a part of my family I will love you violently. If you infiltrate and try to hurt my family, I will murder you violently."

    Yes, both are Sheen.

  8. CrazyDave says:

5/10 – I guess my palette isn't sophisticated enought to distinguish that kind of crazy…

  9. Simon says:

Another 3/10. Granted, I don't pay all that much attention to what either of them say, but you'd think it'd be easy to distinguish between an African dictator and a Hollywood nutjob.

  10. Wladimir Palant says:

After having to look up Sheen on Wikipedia I scored 7/10 as well :)

    3, 5, 6, 9 : Gaddafi, the otehr 6 are Sheen.

  12. Anil says:

Only 2/10 for me, and I even watch Sheen's show.

  13. No One says:

@Crazy Dave: When you put it like that I'm worried about scoring 8/10.  And I really worry about anyone who may have scored 10/10 without knowing about either of them.

  14. Faxmachinen says:

8/10, never heard of Sheen, heard one interview with Gadaffi. And I suspect the only reason I got 8/10 was from subconciously trying to balance out my answers; I Gadaffi'd twice where I should have Sheen'd.

  15. Toukarin says:

6/10, purely by guessing based on the structure of the sentences (I think Gadaffi can't possibly come up with certain phrases). Have never watched Sheen's shows.

  16. Morten says:

6/10. That guy is scary. Sheen, I mean.

  17. Kevin Eshbach says:

I only got 2 out of 10. :-(  I'm still amazed how Gadaffi has come up with some creative quotes unless somebody wrote them for him.  With Charlie Sheen I fully expected some really cool quotes.

  18. ALD says:

8 for 10, here, and I haven't seen Charlie Sheen in anything since Platoon.  Yeah, I know me some crazy!

  19. JM says:

8 out of 10 here too. My method was simple: I attributed the things that sounded halfway coherent to Gaddafi and the rest to Sheen. Except for the 9/11 one, that one was obviously designed to tempt us into choosing Gadaffi.

  20. Andreas Rejbrand says:

    7/10. Quite easy.

  21. jrv says:

    Watson got 9/10

  22. Jess says:

hey check this Charlie Sheen & Muammar Gaddafi parody, came out before the SNL one!

  23. bcs says:

9/10. Mostly by guessing context and looking for the ironic.
