    Ron, do you mean subscribing to the checkin event on the client or the checkin event on the server? For the client API, it’s just like handling the events in the code above (specifying CommitCheckin in this case).

    For subscribing to the checkin event on the server, you can create a web service using VS 2005 and insert the code from http://blogs.msdn.com/buckh/archive/2005/09/19/471347.aspx. That code will work with beta 3, which will be available at the end of this week (or whenever the thing finishes going through the MSDN pipeline).
