Experiencing Data Latency issue in Azure Portal for Many Data Types – 06/19 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all
systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 06/20, 02:30 UTC. Our
logs show the incident started on 06/19, 19:43 UTC and that during the 5
hours 47 minutes that it took to resolve the issue, some customers would
have experienced Data latency in Azure Portal for North Europe region.

  • Root Cause: The failure was due to
    Azure Storage outage in North Europe region.

We understand that customers rely on Application Insights as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.

We continue to investigate issues in Application Insights services. Prelim root cause is isolated to networking issues in our Partner Storage Services. We are working on mitigation plan to recover our services as soon as possible. Until full service health is restored, some customer in North Europe would experience Data Latency.
