Out of the box, Dynamics Retail Discount Engine supports pricing zone for concurrency control. But it is what you have mind, and you want to interpret priority in a different way, say compete within priority and compound across priority.
Scenario – concurrency control: simple discounts first.
This is the concurrency model in many US grocery stores.
Even though this is a short post, the concurrency control is one of the most complicated piece in a discount engine. We will talk more about it in the future.
