We’ve got the November and December winners of our Brain Games 2.0 Challenge! These students achieved the highest scores in the fastest time across the monthly quizzes and will receive $1,000 for proving their tech-trivia skills.
Congratulations to Jyoti Aggarwal from India, our November winner, and Toni Navoski from Macedonia, who won December! Great work, guys.
We asked them what they think they’ll do with their prize and I think you’ll love what they have to say:
“I’ll be using the prize money to get a good laptop.
“One thing I like most about Imagine Cup Brain Games 2.0 is that questions framed aren’t very simple which can easily be found through web. The toughness in turn enriches me with a huge amount of tech facts as each question requires deep reading.”
“What l will do with the prize money? I haven’t decided yet but I have three things on my mind.
“Firstly, I will surely invest in some new tech, since I am “tech” guy.
“Secondly, I will spend some of the prize money on summer vacation at some really nice place (maybe some island).
“And lastly, the rest of the prize money I will share with my family who has supported me in everything during my studies and believed in me.”
I also want to point out some improvements we’ve made to our website. We now have great profile pages for each member of our community and for each team! For example, here is my user profile:
and here is one for a test team I created:
These new profiles really look their best when you upload great photos.
- For your user profile photo, get a square image that is 320 x 320 pixels.
- For your team profile photo, get a wide image that is 916 x 522 pixels.
Now don’t worry if you don’t have image-editing skills: our webserver will resize your photos as needed to be right. But start with larger photos so they’ll still look good at the right size. And of course if you don’t like the way they look, you can try a different photo and upload it again.
Want to change your team name?
We’ve gotten a lot of requests from team admins who want to change their team’s name. Now you can! Just visit the Dashboard and click your team’s name. On the team profile page you can edit the name and save it.
We have more improvements to come, but these will really help your profile and your team profile look great. Show the world your stuff!
