School Students Bring Books To Life with OneNote

There’s nothing better than getting lost in a good book.

Students at Ormiston College are not only reading their favourite books, they are also narrating them,  creating their own weekly video and audio diaries. Using the OneNote Class Notebook, students are using the recording tools to: provide their take on every chapter, track the moves of the heroes and highlight what they hope will happen next.

Some of my students used One note for their geological field trip handbooks when we went to Iceland and Norway in April 2015 with great success. The book was structured by my deputy based on the itinerary that I organised and the students were required to fill it up with their learning and experiences. I will be doing the same in a couple of weeks when we go to Kalbarri, WA refining it further with lessons learnt from Iceland and Norway.  The students will have full creativity scope to design their own book from scratch.
