Experiencing Data Access Issue in Azure Portal for Many Data Types- 12/20 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 12/20, 13:37 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 12/20, 13:18 UTC and that during the 19 minutes that it took to resolve the issue 11.09% of customers experienced Data Access issues in the Azure portal.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to issue in one of our dependent platform services.
