Experiencing Alerting failure for Availability Data Type – 07/07 – Resolved

Application Insights experienced Alerting failures and we've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 07/07,17:20 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 07/07, 16:43 UTC and that during the 37 minutes that it took to resolve the issue 50% of customers whose web-tests are configured in Singapore region would have experienced alerting failures and would have data gap until 17:20 UTC.

  • Work Around:  Customers should ensure their availability tests are running from at least three locations to ensure redundant coverage through maintenance.
