Experiencing Data Access Issue in Azure Portal for Many Data Types – 02/27 – Resolved

We’ve confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 02/27, 04:45 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 02/27, 04:30 UTC and that during the 15 minutes that it took to resolve the issue ~9% of customers experienced Data Access issue from Azure portal and Application Insights API.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue in one of our dependent platform services.
