We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 01/25, 10:35 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 01/25, 10:10 UTC and that during the 25 minutes that it took to resolve the issue 7% of customers experienced Data Access Issues in the Azure Portal.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue in one of our dependent platform services.
