We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 01/23, 10:29 PM UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 01/23, 09:22 PM UTC and that during the 1 hour 7 minutes that it took to resolve the issue 5% of customers experienced  Data Access Issues in the Azure Portal.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue in one of our dependent platform services.
  • Incident Timeline:  1 hour 7 minutes - 01/23, 9:22 PM UTC through 10:29 PM UTC
