Experiencing Data Gaps for Availability Data Type – 11/05 – Resolved

A very small subset of customers whose their web tests are configured in San Jose location may experience availability data missing. Customers should ensure their availability tests are running from at least three locations to ensure redundant coverage through maintenance. 
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue in back end component.
  • Lessons Learned: We are working on adding additional telemetry and improvements in the service from the learning's we took from the incident.

We understand that customers rely on Application Insights as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.
