Experiencing Data Access Issue in Azure Portal for Many Data Types – 10/10 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 10/10, 12:00 PM UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 10/10,10:15 AM UTC and that during the 1 hour and 45 minutes that it took to resolve the issue some customers would have experienced data access Issues in Azure Portal and App analytics portal.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue in one of our dependent platform services.
  • Lessons Learned: We have collected required telemetry data during the impact period which we will utilize to avoid such re-occurrences in future.
  • Incident Timeline: 1 Hours & 45 minutes - 10/10 10:15 AM UTC through 10/10, 12:00 PM UTC
