Update: Thursday, 22 September 2016 18:25 UTC

Root cause has been isolated to a code bug that is impacting auto-complete feature for metric. To address this issue we have fixed the bug and are in the process of deploying a hotfix in production services. Impact is limited to customers using auto-complete feature for metric and they will continue to experience the issue until deployment is complete. We expect this to be done in next 6 hours in all geos.

Initial Update: Thursday, 22 September 2016 10:51 UTC

We are aware of issues within Application Insights and are actively investigating. Some customers may have noticed missing autocomplete for metric data while creating or modifying queries in the Application Analytics portal. Saved queries and users who do not rely on autocomplete will not be affected.
