Experiencing Alerting failure for Availability Data Type – 08/25 – Resolved

We’ve confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 08/25, 10:15 AM UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 08/25, 09:30 AM UTC and that during the 45 minutes that it took to resolve the issue small subset  of customers having availability tests configured from Moscow region would have experienced alerting issue.

  • Root Cause: The failure was due to issues with networking device in the impacted region.
  • Lessons Learned: We will be working with the partner team to investigate the root cause of this issue and possible ways to avoid such impact.
