Experiencing Data Access Issue in Azure Portal for Analytics Service – 06/04 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 6/4, 03:00 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 6/4, 01:00 UTC and that during the 2 hours that it took to resolve the issue of 15 customers experienced data access while using Analytics service.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to maintenance activity in dependent services.
  • Lessons Learned: We understand the root cause completely and additional steps have been taken to avoid such re-occurrences in future.

We are aware of issues within Application Insights and are actively working. Customers using Analytics Service will experience Data Access Issue in Azure Portal. We understand the root cause and actively working on mitigation.
