Experiencing Data Latency for Many Data Types – 01/04 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 1/4, 06:05 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 1/4, 04:32 UTC and that during the 2 hours & 33 minutes that it took to resolve the issue very small percentage of customers experienced data latency.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to dependent service in Data collection infrastructure which experienced degraded performance  .
  • Lessons Learned: We have taken impacted region out of service immediately which helped minimize the impact.
