Experiencing Alerting failure for Availability Data Type – 12/02 – Resolved

We have confirmed that all systems are normal with no customer impact.

Our concern was due to a change in a back-end authentication system which caused intermittent issues with a portion of our monitoring.  We have confirmed our monitoring has appropriate coverage and there is no impact to our customers.

We understand that customers rely on Application Insights as a critical service and apologize for any confusion this communication may have caused.
