Experiencing Data Latency for Request Data Type – 9/20 – Resolved

We’ve confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 9/20, 20:01 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 9/20/2015
15:45 UTC and that during the 4 hours that it took to resolve the issue a small percentage of customers may experienced latency of more than 2 hours for requests Data Type.

As we don’t completely understand the root cause there are higher than normal chances for the issue to reoccur. In which case we’ll keep our customers updated.

Root Cause: We don’t understand the root cause for this, however the logs points to instability in the underlying infrastructure causing this issue. We continue to analyze our logs in an attempt to understand the root cause.

Our DevOps team continues to investigate issues within Application Insights. Root cause is not fully understood at this time. Some customers might experience some latency for Requests Data type. DevOps is engaged and working on the issue but we currently have no estimate for resolution.

We are aware of issues within Application Insights and are actively investigating. Some customers may experience intermittent Data Latency.  Requests Data type is affected by this latency issue.
