Experiencing Data Access Issue in Azure Portal – 8/15 – Resolved

A subset of Application Insights customers may have received errors attempting to access their data between 8/15, 10:38 UTC and 8/15 12:40 UTC.  We have confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 8/15, 12:40 UTC. During this window, customers may have received timeouts or errors when accessing their Application Insights data through the Azure Portal.

Root Cause: The failure was due to an infrastructure issue which caused some requests to fail to load graph parts within the Azure Portal UI.

We understand that customers rely on Application Insights as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.
