I love that mouse

The Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer that is.

I’ve been using a lot of Microsoft mice over the years so when I saw that Tilt Wheel technology, I thought that I would use it as much as the Scroll Wheel one: a lot! Well, it turns out I don’t.

But the mouse shape and the Scroll Wheel feel so perfect! Too bad the Forward Internet Button is not on the right as it is on the IntelliMouse Optical, I end up not using it.

For kids and laptop use, I still love the Notebook Optical Mouse.

    So do I.

One of the things that most impressed me was an otherwise tiny aspect of the setup program: it tells users exactly where in the hardware they will find a label with the name of the model they’re supposed to select. It’s so obvious and yet so uncommon. Hopefully other hardware products will follow this good example.

Yeah, I’ve got this one too. I love the smooth feeling when scrolling, no more click-click-click. The same for me regarding the tilt function. On 1600×1200 you don’t have to use it that much. :-)

One thing that could have done better is the integration into VS.NET 2003. It seems as Microsoft didn’t test the accelerated scrolling feature, for VS scrolls at a fixed speed. Would be nice if there is some way to fix that because I like text scrolling faster if I am scrolling faster.
