Creators Club Communiqué 47

Ciao, Creators!

This weekend (March 26th-28th) the good people of Penny Arcade are hosting the first east coast version of their wildly successful event, Penny Arcade Expo (PAX East) in Boston, MA. Although Xbox LIVE Indie Games won’t have a booth presence this year, I’ll be there! Be sure to follow @XNACommunity for updates during the event! If you see exciting XBLIG-related stuff don’t forget to tweet about it with the #XBLIG hash tag. I’ll also be sure to report back here to the team blog with photos and news for anyone who can’t make the trip.

Are you going to PAX East? Several Xbox LIVE Indie Game Creators will also be in attendance!

Mommy’s Best Games’ Nathan and Amy Fouts and Blitz Studios (creators of Xbox LIVE Arcade games such as Invincible Tiger and Encleverment Experiment) will be in Booth 1135. They’ll be showing off hit XBLIGs like Weapon of Choice and Shoot 1UP. If you stop by their booth you could be one of the first people to play their upcoming game, Grapple Buggy!

Snake 360 Creator Aaron Teplitsky of yyrGames will be right next to them in Booth 1133. They’ll be giving away strange and incredible prizes, too!

Ska Studios’ James Silva, creator of Xbox LIVE Arcade game The Dishwasher, as well as XBLIG hits such as I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES!!!1, and ZP2K9, can be found at booth 116 shilling some super sweet swag. They’ll also have demos of Charlie Murder and the hotly anticipated sequel to The Dishwasher, Dishwasher: Vampire Smile!
