LINQ to XSD now available on CodePlex

We are happy to announce that we are releasing the sources for LINQ to XSD on CodePlex  at LINQ to XSD allows you to program with strongly-typed classes  based on an XSD schema and was previously released on MSDN as an alpha  preview.

We have recently received  a  number of requests from customers who would like to use this preview in their projects and re-distribute it. We hope the CodePlex project will be able to satisfy the requirements of the customers who need to use this technology today. The community is welcome to submit their improvements and contributions on CodePlex and carry this project forward.

The VB sample has a nasty error message:

    Microsoft Visual Studio

Unable to read the project file ‘LINQtoXSDLibrary1.csproj’.

C:CodePlexLINQ to XSDSamplesLinqToXsdVBLINQtoXSDLibrary1LINQtoXSDLibrary1.csproj(53,11): The imported project "C:CodePlexLINQ to XSDSamplesLinqToXsdVBLinqToXsd.targets" was not found. Confirm that the path in the <Import> declaration is correct, and that the file exists on disk.

I gave up on the environmental values and just pasted the necessary files in each solution directory. That worked much better.
