ESPN College Bowl Showdown

One thing that says the holidays to this football-crazed catfishboy is college football! Basically, starting December 18, we’ve got college football games coming out the wazoo! And for every matchup like Pittsburgh-Kentucky (ooo, I think I threw up a bit in my mouth), we’ve got a real game like Utah-Boise St. or TCU-Wisconsin. That last one is still screwing up my picks. Picks? What am I talking about? The ESPN College Bowl Showdown Pick ‘Em Tool, that’s what.

Download the ESPN application (you can find it in Video Marketplace on your dashboard), allow it to get the latest updates, then go into the ESPN app and you’ll find the Pick ‘Em tool. Don’t worry, you don’t have to have an ESPN3.com-affiliated broadband provider to play (I know, I know, just keep bugging your Internet provider, they’ll catch on eventually). Now, make all your picks on the college football bowl games and start trash talking your friends that you totally know how the Fresno State-Northern Illinois game is going to play out.

While you’re picking the winners, don’t miss out on our ESPN College Bowl Showdown Sweepstakes. Between now and January 10 when the national championship game is played (Go Ducks! Yes, catfish like ducks.) you can earn entries in the sweepstakes by downloading the gamerpic or playing streaming content from ESPN on Xbox LIVE. You could win a trip to the ESPY Awards or the ESPN Studios. Check out the sweeps page to find out more info, and good luck!
