Gears of War 2 Update, Double XP Event

Next time you pop Gears of War 2 into your Xbox 360, you’ll find a welcome batch of enhancements and fixes, courtesy of the latest title update. Some of these can even be lifesaving, such as the ability to view friendly-planted grenades in Tac/Com. For the full scoop on what’s new, check out the Epic Games forum.

You might want to use checking out the update as an excuse for getting some multiplayer practice in, as the “All Hollow’s Eve” Double XP Event will run from October 30 through November 2, in both competitive multiplayer and Horde modes. You’ll want to be on the winning team so you can collect your bonus points.
