Windows service pack or update release testing policy

When testing for certification, you’re required to use the latest service pack or update release 90 days after it’s made available publicly. This is to ensure maximum compatibility with your device driver and Windows.

Windows 8.1 Update will be required for all Windows 8.1 submissions starting on August 1, 2014.

This announcement was made in reference to the new Win 8.1 update that will release.  In the certification policy document it states that all new Service Pack releases are required for testing purposes 90 days after the release.  Again this article is just a reminder that all new Update andor Service Pack releases are required to be used for testing 90 days after they release.
