Americas Ecosystem Partners Honored with Partner Excellence Awards

The Americas team congratulates four ecosystem partners who recently won Partner Excellence Awards: Bsquare, Adeneo Embedded, IntervalZero and ICOP Technology. The winners were announced at a virtual regional Gold and Silver partner event held on November 14, 2012.

The Windows Embedded Partner Excellence Awards recognize members of the Windows Embedded Partner Program that excel at driving the Windows Embedded business. Their contributions help bring solutions to market that support the development of intelligent systems worldwide.

Thanks to all the partners who submitted nominations. Below are descriptions of the contributions made by each winning partner:

Bsquare: Technical Excellence

This award recognizes Bsquare for its HTML5 Rendering Engine. This robust HTML5 and JavaScript environment allows OEMs to deliver rich HTML5-based user experiences, streamline development and future-proof their devices. The HTML5 Rendering Engine supports the Windows Embedded Compact and Windows Embedded Handheld platforms.

Adeneo Embedded: Time to Market

This award recognizes Adeneo Embedded’s exceptional contributions to decreasing customer time to market with their Windows Embedded Compact 7 Board Support Packages (BSPs). These BSPs were developed for Texas Instruments, Freescale and Xilinx platforms. The BSPs target advanced processor architectures including the Freescale i.MX6, Xilinx Zynq and Texas Instruments Sitara AM335x.

IntervalZero: Innovation

This award recognizes IntervalZero for its innovative contribution to FlightSafety International’s revolutionary Airbus A320 simulator design. The new design featured Windows Embedded Standard 7 (replacing a proprietary operating system), IntervelZero’s symmetric multiprocessing-enabled RTX hard real-time software, and x86 multicore multiprocessors. The Airbus A320 simulator has been certified in both the US and China.

Adeneo Embedded: Customer Advocacy

This award acknowledges Adeneo Embedded’s influence in a strategic Windows Embedded design win with a medical device OEM. Adeneo Embedded’s commitment to evangelizing the Windows Embedded platform was key to this win. Adeneo Embedded implemented critical connectivity and multimedia features during this project.

ICOP Technology: Community Leadership

This award acknowledges ICOP Technology and Samuel Phung for promoting the Windows Embedded platform by hosting the “Embedded 101” website at www.embeddeded101.com. This popular site is used as a reference by developers, customers and the Windows Embedded team at Microsoft. ICOP Technology also supports regional academic programs with Windows Embedded content and expertise.
