What … it has been 5 years already? Time flies when you are having fun :)
When there were unusually many ALM Rangers gathering in one place at the ATE event I should have known … Bijan had a great surprise for me.
It all started as a VSTS MVP with an unforgettable sabbatical in Redmond with BillE, working on an early version of the Best Practise Analyser (BPA) tool and encountering PowerShell for the first time.
A couple of months later I dragged my family across the Atlantic to beautiful British Columbia to join Microsoft Canada in January 2009.
… departing from SA
… welcome to sunny snowy Vancouver
… first event with the Rangers @ TechReady 9 … July 2009
To cut a 5-year story short, I received my 5-year service award and a phenomenal bottle of 5-year old wine amongst very special ALM Rangers. The award is now sitting next to the infamous rugby ball from the ALM Rangers / MVPs
THANK YOU Bijan and Rangers for the surprise and the best ATE evening at TechReady ever! It has definitely been five years of interesting adventures and lots of fun
