Pirates ship ALM Readiness Treasure Map v2.1 release for Windows 8.1

We are pleased to announce the third release of ALM Readiness Treasure Map v2.1 to the Windows Store.

Hello, fellow pirates! Hopefully you have had a chance to use version 2.0 of the ALM Readiness Treasure Map application and are enjoying the improvements that it brought over v1.0. Our team has been working on even more improvements in v2.1, primarily around Windows 8.1”, Robert Bernstein (captain of the ship).

Visit https://aka.ms/vsartmaptoc for an aggregation of blog posts, reference URLS and announcements for this adventurous project. For example, in Robert shows us what was involved to upgrade the ALM Treasure Map for Windows 8.1 we get a fast-tracked tour through the development phase from v2.0 to v2.1, by Robert MacLean.

NOTE: If you click on the latest STORE APP and you are running Windows 8 you will get v2 not v2.1. If, however, you are running Windows 8.1 you will get the latest v2.1 release as expected Smile

what’s next?

Good question and the answer depends on your feedback! At this point the team and project is entering service mode, which means that critical bugs will be addressed, but no new features (yet). Questions on the mind of the feature and the planning teams:

  • Which features do you need in the next version?
  • What do you like and dislike in the current version?
  • Is the product adding value to you? Would you miss it if if disappears beyond the horizon?
  • Is a Windows Phone version a “would be nice” or “essential” feature request?

please send candid feedback!

We can’t wait to hear from you, and learn more about your experience using the add-in. Here are some ways to connect with us:
