Introducing the Visual Studio ALM Rangers – Kurt Crowley

This post is part of an ongoing series of Rangers introductions. See An index to all Rangers covered on this blog for more details.

Who are you?

Kurt Crowley, Sr. Application Development Manager, Premier Support for Developers (PSfD). I lead the ALM POD for PSfD and am active helping our customers in 0514SportsCountyBaseball.jpgareas of ALM and Agile. Prior to Microsoft, I’ve held developer, architect, and senior management positions in the public and private sector – everything from startups to big government.

What makes you tick?

I love finding better ways to solve problems, in software and in life. My passion is in helping software teams work better together to build products that solve business challenges, grow as technologists, and be fulfilled in their work.

Where do you live?

Zionsville, IN

Where is the place you call home?

A campsite, a tree stand, a duck blind, the woods, ….

Why are you active in the Rangers program?

I want to bring the best information and resources to our customers, and the Rangers is a community where I can learn and hopefully contribute. I’ve got a diverse background across open source and other ALM products and services, so I want to help make our ALM tooling and guidance even better.

What is the best Rangers project you worked in and why?
