TechReady 13 Journal: T-2 days (Leaving VC)

The journey to TR13 started in Vancouver at the River Rock Casino, whereby I waited on the jetty as usual … enjoying the scenery and planes flying overhead while landing at VC International Airport.

I managed to take a few pictures before catching the QuickCoach shuttle:

The last picture is Bijan’s cave @ 12:30AM … next time you chat to us in a Live/Lync meeting, in particular with Bijan, you can imagine him sitting in his “green” office Smile

Unfortunately I fell asleep on the bus as usual and I will have to try and get some pictures of the stunning scenic drive on the way back on Friday.

Questions of the day:

  • Why am I asked what visa I have, when it is in my passport and on the custom official’s computer screen?
  • Why does a taxi from Seattle to Redmond (11miles) cost just about as much as a bus ride from VC to Seattle and back(142 miles x 2)?
  • Why do I always fall asleep on anything that moves?
