AHE – Visual Studio Lab Management uses the VM Factory
As shown in the task sequence selection dialog, the latest VM Factory has been consolidated to support a MOSS or WSS based Visual Studio ALM Rangers Base image for the 32-bit or 64-bit (as shown above) environments.
In addition the Visual Studio Lab Management Guidance has extended the task sequences by including two new task sequences:
- Basic client with agents
- Hands-on lab image, similar to the LabServer image you get when downloading the bits from the VHD Test Drive program.
“Cowabuga” … the adoption of the factory is happening, which means that we can start looking at defining and implementing a factory sharing strategy and ensuring that the setup and configuration of a factory becomes as easy as the use thereof.
