Introducing the Visual Studio ALM Rangers – Chris Burrows

This post is part of an ongoing series of Rangers introductions. See An index to all Rangers covered on this blog for more details.

Who are you?

I’m somebody who is passionate about both my family and about technology.

I’m a Microsoft Senior Consultant based out of the Nation’s Capital (Canberra). During the day I’m out working with clients helping them modernise their software development process and getting the most out of their technology investment. Whilst my nights, sometimes early mornings (Smile) and weekends see me keeping pace with both technology, my 3 girls and my lovely wife.  In the spare time that I get I’m out in the garden, at the gym and catching up on a bit of reading over a coffee.

What makes you “tick”?

In one word achievement.  I live to succeed in whatever I do..

Where do you live?

Canberra, Australia

Where do you call home?

Where I lay my hat Smile  Anywhere where my family is.

Why are you active in the Rangers program?

In one word, the community. I’ve been on the other end of some of the great work that the Rangers have done it has really help make a difference.

What is the best Rangers project you worked in and why?

As I’m currently in my second project, I don’t have much to compare.

That being said, I’m loving the new Ruck process...
