Introducing the Visual Studio ALM Rangers – Manuel Boendel

This post is part of an ongoing series of Rangers introductions. See An index to all Rangers covered on this blog for more details.

Who you are?
I’m 29 years old and father of a girl born 2010. I’m working for Avanade Germany since 3 years and brought 4 years’ experience with me before joining Avanade as a Consultant for Microsoft Technologies. Beside my work I spend a lot of time learning about new technologies. Working as a Consultant is a great thing for me, because I really like travelling around and facing new challenges with every new project I’m working in.

What makes you “tick”? Beside my work I’m spending most of my time with new technologies. Not only with the computer, also all the multimedia stuff you need at home. I also like doing sports and try to spend as much as possible time with my family.

Where do you live? During the week, mostly in hotels. At the weekend in Braunschweig, Germany.

Where is the place you call home? Braunschweig, Germany

Why are you active in the Rangers program? Because I love working with the newest Microsoft technologies. Since three years I’m working as a specialist for Team Foundation Server and Application Lifecycle Management. And I have a lot of fun working with all that cool tools ;-)

What is the best Rangers project you worked in and why? I’m new at the rangers program, so I hope to be able to update this chapter soon ;-)
