Visual Studio 2010 Quick Reference Guide … getting rid of the unnecessary download complexity and clutter

If you visit the https://vs2010quickref.codeplex.com/ site you will notice that the Downloads now has three release options … a retired v1, a Spanish and a brand new v2 download.

The GOOD story is that the complexity and clutter is gone. We now have a XPS-only and a Complete-(xps, docx, pdf, visio, xlsx) formats package, which no longer requires you to download three different packages (overview, basic and supporting) to get the complete guidance content.

The BAD  story is that the great comments and download numbers are with the v1 download and not the default v2 download.

Therefore …

• Action #1: Please download the v2 release, which contains some updates as per Visual Studio ALM Rangers – Important Quick Reference Guidance and VM Factory update.
• Action #2: Please re-add your comments from v1 to v2, as well as new ones.
