Introducing the Visual Studio ALM Rangers – Sven Hubert

This post is part of an ongoing series of Rangers introductions. See An index to all Rangers covered on this blog for more details.

Who you are?

I’m Sven Hubert – together with my colleagues from AIT TeamSystemPro Team, we are helping companies achieving their goals in software development projects by delivering solutions for .NET and application lifecycle management.

What makes you “tick”?

There’s a huge potential in improvement the efficiency and effectiveness of teams building modern software – let’s unveil and use this to create better software.

Where you live?

ICE – the German high-speed train. My favourite station is Stuttgart, Germany, because this means I’m back from a successful trip.

Where is the place you call home?

For me, home is where family and friends are – unfortunately the ICE does not fit this definition.

Why are you active in the Rangers program?

Providing guidance and contents on how to use Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server is essential to us – it’s our responsibility as the leading Visual Studio ALM consulting team in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

What is the best Rangers project you worked in and why?

Working out the concepts for requirements management with Visual Studio and TFS has been a great experience. There are so many perspectives on this subject. It is not easy to fulfil all with one product. As a side-effect to our contribution to the Requirements Management Guidance, we developed AIT TeamSystemPro WordToTFS to fill the gap in requirements elicitation and customer communication and AIT TeamSystemPro Task Board to help teams to track their progress in requirements implementation.
