Introducing the Visual Studio ALM Rangers – Jeff Bramwell

Who you are?
I am an Applications Software Architect working out of Omaha, Nebraska and also co-leader of the Omaha Team System User Group.

What makes you “tick”?  
I have a strong passion around learning about technology and sharing that knowledge with others (via forums, one-on-one discussions, user groups, and presenting at conferences).  I love to design and create software that is not only useful for myself but for others as well.  As part of that, I have several open source projects currently active (some more active than others).  Other activities include watching movies (I’m a huge sci-fi fan), mountain biking, and camping.

Where you live?  
Just south of Omaha with my beautiful wife, Jill, and three children.

Where is the place you call home?  
Although I haven’t lived there for 20 years now, I still call Oklahoma home.  It’s where I was raised and where most of my family still resides.

Why are you active in the Rangers program?  
I am involved with the Rangers program because I love giving back to the community and working with passionate people.  The Rangers program provides great opportunities for working with passionate, technology-minded people from all across the globe.

What is the best Rangers project you worked in and why?  
So far, the only Rangers project I’ve really been involved with is the TFS Integration Platform.  The project offered an opportunity to help document various APIs, which is something I enjoy doing.  I look forward to working on other Rangers projects in the near future.
