Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio 2010 Licensing … where can I find the details?
We are getting more and more questions on licensing and costs for Team Foundation Server 2010 and Visual Studio 2010.
Personally I have always shied away from opening the licensing can of worms myself, so I recommend that you visit the licensing whitepaper (https://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=2b1504e6-0bf1-46da-be0e-85cc792c6b9d) and take note of blogs such as (https://blogs.msdn.com/buckh/archive/2009/10/20/tfs-2010-server-licensing-it-s-included-in-msdn-subscriptions.aspx).
Hopefully SA Architect will update the 2008 licensing poster 0202 Microsoft Team System Licensing Overview.jpg for 2010 soon … hint, hint :)
