Fantastic new, a short time ago, Microsoft officially released Office 2010, SharePoint 2010, Visio 2010 and Project 2010 to manufacturing!
Important Dates and Product Availability Information!
Recently and almost daily I have been asked about when the software will be availabile for download, it is a pleasure to finally be able to state exact dates. Eligible Volume Licensing Customers with active Software Assurance (SA), will be able to download the English products via the Volume Licensing Service Center starting April 27. Customers without SA will be able to purchase the new products through Volume Licensing from Microsoft partners starting May 1. You can expect to see Office 2010 in retail stores in June, and can pre-order Office 2010 at https://store.microsoft.com/OfficePreorder today to receive Office when it ships in June.
Join us for the Virtual Launch Event - May 12th
As announced by the product team earlier, an official launch of Office 2010 will be on May 12 in New York City with a keynote from Stephen Elop, President of Microsoft's Business Division. Customers, Partners and individuals around the globe can participate in a virtual launch by going to https://www.the2010event.com. The virtual launch will include product demos, customer and partner testimonials, and interviews with product managers and executives. Several early adopter stories from the TAP programs will be highlighted during the event.
