We’ve confirmed that all systems are back to normal as of 12:05 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 11:20 UTC and that during the 45 minutes that it took to resolve the issue customers might have experienced slow and failed commands while using Visual Studio Team Services in the Western Europe region. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
- Root Cause: The issue self mitigated during investigation. Initial investigation points to contention in one of our backend databases. We continue to investigate towards full understanding of the root cause.
