Visual Studio 2010 IDE fails to launch due to improper installation of Service Pack1
Only some of the MS VS2010 products on this computer have been upgraded to SP1. None will work correctly until all have been updated. To upgrade, close VS products and then install MS VS2010 SP1 which you can download here. If setup starts in Maintenance Mode, select repair. Microsoft VS will now close.
To fix the error we need to do the following steps:
Download the full download of Visual Studio 2010SP1.

Extract the ISO file. Follow the steps below to extract an ISO file:
· Download of the extraction tools like ISObuster, Winrar, MagicISO etc.,
· Install the extraction tool that you choose and open the ISO file.
· Extract the ISO file.

Right click the setup.exe and run as administrator.

Select the option to reapply the VS2010SP1.
