NET Framework 3.5 SP1 installation fails while installing WIC installer

6.719: Update.exe return code was masked to 0x643 for MSI custom action compliance.

As per log it was showing that it failed to copy spupdsvc.exe [spupdsvc.exe is a Microsoft Update RunOnce Service process ]

We located spupdsvc.exe inside the system32 folder and renamed it to .old and then tried the install

The install went absolutely fine .
