Today I watched the inauguration of president Obama on a website sporting a Silverlight player, in HD. Awesome! One of my colleagues collected a comprehensive list of links of websites using Silverlight to show the inauguration:

Pretty impressive, eh? Most of the links still work, running President Obama’s very inspiring inauguration speech.

But wait, there’s more. If you go to CNN’s website you will find a short video demonstrating satellite imagery of the crowd at the ceremony. Is this thing running on XP?
