Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Longhorn Server

You are a developer? Here's is exciting news for you! You don't want to miss April 11-13. The Windows Server product team, with the help of the Developer and Platform Evangelism team of Microsoft, is hosting a highly technical 3 day event in Bellevue, WA: Windows Server Code Name "Longhorn" Software Design Review. Here's the website: www.longhornsdr.com.

The design review is targeting the ISV community, providing content suited for development leads, architects and developers who want to learn about what's new in Longhorn server for developers. We've packed 3 days full of deep technical content about areas like, core fundamentals, management, storage, security, identity and many more (incl. 64-bit). We aim for only level 300-400 sessions and very few overview talks. Some of the material and concepts will be shown to a wider audience for the first time.

If you are a managed ISV partner of Microsoft, this is your opportunity to hear about implementation details, exchange information with product team  members and find help and answers to your questions.
On the registration website you find more information about event agenda. We started posting some information about breakout sessions and will soon post the full schedule for the event.

There are only 350 seats available and they go very fast. Make sure you check out the website and sign up to learn how to take advantage (or make sense) of ... ADFS, ASMX, CCS, CNG, IIS7, IPv6, MS-MPI, OpenMP, RDC, RMS, TxF, X.509,  SUA, SPLA, TS, WAS, WCF, WF, WMI ... in Windows Server Code Name "Longhorn".

BTW, attendees will have access to latest builds of Windows Server Code Name "Longhorn", all the presentations and material used at the event. Did I mention there is a highly valuable giveaway for attendees (I promised not to tell what it is until the event).
Hope to seeing you in April! Volker
