Who are you?
I’m a Consultant in the Modern Apps Domain (Joint DOD space) and I’ve been in Software Development for almost 25 years. I enjoy solving “unsolvable” problems for my customers and I’m rewarded by seeing the tangible value that software solutions bring to them. Outside of work, I spend my time with my husband in beautiful Charleston, SC. I love the outdoors, bird watching, tennis, boxing, and of course - my rescue dogs. Many of my toughest coding challenges have been solved while clearing my head on a long walk with the beagles!
What makes you “tick”?
I especially enjoy the artistic side of software development – the creativity involved in taking a solution from an idea to delivery. I have a competitive spirit, and so I continuously challenge myself both professionally and personally - stretching my comfort zone and trying new things.
Where do you live?
Although I’m originally from Virginia, I’ve lived in Johns Island, SC (outside of Charleston) for about 5 years. I love South Carolina and can’t imagine living anywhere else!
