Introducing the Visual Studio ALM Rangers – Gregory Ott

Who are you?  

I’m Gregory Ott, I live and work in Lyon, France. My daily work is focused on tooling and supporting project teams especially around TFS. I animate trainings on many aspects of VS ALM, from administration to Backlog grooming. I enjoy playing with PowerShell and TFS API.

I'm also a Microsoft User Group co-founder in Lyon. For me, it’s a great way to confront experiences and ideas with each others.

What makes you “tick”?

Learning and sharing with my peers and almost every passionate people. Improving teams’ collaboration. I feel very proud when someone tell me that I help him in its daily work.

Where you live?

Lyon, France. This is a great place to live, we have gastronomy, wines. We have mountains within one hour drive and Mediterranean about 3h.

Why are you active in or with the Rangers program?

I hope my personal experience will be useful for TFS users.

What is the best Rangers project you worked with and why?

I’m enjoying this opportunity to contribute to this great community that helped me a lot this past few years.
