Who are you?
Who I am is constantly changing and evolving as I gain experience and get older. Currently, I am first and foremost a father to two great kids and a soon-to-be husband to a great soon-to-be wife. Outside of home I am DevOps and Continuous Delivery Consultant working at Solidify AB. And when there is some time left over, then I am a bookworm for fantasy/sci-fi books, a software developer and architect, a speaker at community events, a blogger, an ALM Ranger, a diver, a tennis player, a traveler and an adventurer.
What makes you “tick”?
I am a problem solver and tinkerer. Challenges make me tick. Especially challenges with DevOps, Continuous Delivery, Architecture or Software Development. I have a habit of going deep and focusing until something is “solved”. Additionally, I have found that business and investments make me tick, so over the years I have found it as an interesting extra curriculum. My kids and my family make me tick on a daily basis, in a positive way
Where do you live?
I live in Sweden near Stockholm, in a small housing area called Söderby. It has great nature all around to explore with my family.
Where is the place you call home?
Where-ever I live and my family is.
Why are you active in the Rangers program?
Where else do you find so many likeminded and experienced people who are passionate about DevOps, ALM, CD, TFS / VSTS? I’m continuously learning in this program and have a network of people to talk to when I need to throw around ideas and solve challenges. The Rangers program has over the past 9 years offered me different sets of challenges through Branching and Merging Guidance, Dependency Management Guidance and Work Item Visualization project. It has evolved me, I’ve enjoyed it immensely and expect to continue to enjoy being a part of this great community.
What is the best Rangers project you worked in and why?
Hands down the Dependency Management for NuGet and Work Item Visualization extension project.
