MIX 2008 - Here we go....

I just arrived in Las Vegas from Seattle on a plane stuffed with Microsoft folks. We are all pumped about this show. There are tons of great sessions and some super exciting announcements. We've all be prepped for what's coming this week and it's going to be big!

Here's the 411 on my session:

T17 Developing Applications with Microsoft Virtual Earth

Thursday, March 6 4:15 PM - 5:30 PM, Delfino 4105

Speaker(s): Chris Pendleton

Audience(s): Technical

Session Type: Breakout

Learn how to incorporate Microsoft Virtual Earth's mapping and aerial photography data from around the world, in both 2- and 3-dimensional environments, into your own applications.

I also wrote a Hands on Lab for MIX, so if you get a chance to get into the lab you can code some Virtual Earths. Mark Brown (Virtual Earth Senior Product Manager) will be available on site to mentor those who follow the HOL. I'll post my HOL on the blog later this week.

In my preso, I'm going deep into the code, I'm showing some killer mashups, I have an announcement (yay!) and I guarantee I will have the one piece of MIX conference schwag that everyone will be vying for. I'm talking limited edition collector's item.

I hope to see you there, but if you can't make it you can watch from your desktop. All sessions will be recorded and posted to the MIX web site within 24 hours. So, you can watch me Friday afternoon!

I'll try to blog during the conference, but your best bet is to follow the feed @ https://visitmix.com/Feeds/RSS/.
