Traffic by Live Search Maps Vista Gadget Returns

I've had this sitting in my inbox for a couple weeks, but for those of you who hadn't heard the long awaited return of the Traffic by Live Search Maps Vista Gadget has arrived.

Here's the official description, " Don’t get stuck in gridlock or be late to your next appointment. Live Search Maps is a quick and simple way to see real-time traffic conditions in your area with convenient links to local search and directions. Now supports more cities across US and Canada than ever before, with more added automatically each month! "

Right on your Vista desktop you can now see a sidebar gadget for traffic - extremely useful if you live or work in urban areas. You can get traffic in 29 cities around North America including - Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, New York, Oklahoma City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Portland, Providence, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis, Tampa, Toronto, and Washington DC.

I found the usability a little tricky, so if you use it and end up on Live Search Maps don't be surprised. It took me a few minutes, but I figured out that clicking the little wrench will allow you to customize your traffic feed. Just a little tidbit of help if you need it.

So, if you like the Vista sidebar, keep it locked to your screen and have grip marks on your steering wheel this is a must have.
