I am speaking at Tech-Ed Australia and Tech-Ed New Zealand

Immediately after attending VMworld this year I am going to be jumping on a plane and heading back home to speak at Tech-Ed Australia and Tech-Ed New Zealand.

At both of these shows I am going to be giving two presentations:

Windows 7 XP Compatability mode, Virtual PC and Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization

In this session I will be talking about Windows Virtual PC and MED-V and explaining what Microsoft’s strategy is here, how you should be evaluating these technologies, and spending some time to talk about the architecture “under the covers” to give you some insight into what is happening there.

Inside Windows Server 2008 R2 Virtualization Improvements and Native VHD Support

This session is one where I am going to try and overload you with technical information about what has changed in Windows Server 2008 R2 in order to make Hyper-V better.  Lots of technical stuff here – so be warned.

Here is my schedule for presentations:

Trade Show Code Title Date / Time

Outside of these presentations I will be wandering around and looking for people to talk to about virtualization.  So if you are going to attend either of these shows – come to my sessions, and come and chat to me afterwards.

Cheers,
Ben
